| Keynote Panel: Innovate or Die! Building Great Brands in the Age of Disruption | | For the past few years the advertising industry has been talking about how it needs to reinvent itself for the future – with the accusation from critics of lots of talk, very little action. Well – now we have no choice. As per the title of this session, it’s time to Innovate Or Die. It’s not enough to say – you have to do. That applies to our industry, to our product, and to our panel, who will be debating how advertising needs to change from ‘saying’ to ‘doing’, and in doing so be fully focused on delivering radically new paths of action that everyone can learn from. Andy Berndt of Google will be talking about how the world’s largest brand in terms of brand value tackles its own brand strategy, as Google works with marketers to provide new channels of consumer engagement in the digital age. Rei Inamoto will be sharing exactly how AKQA works with brands to ensure they act in order to engage consumers, via highly creative interactive opportunities.
