He has worked in Deutsche Bank, Banc of America Securities (San Francisco) and Bear Stearns (New York), and was mostly responsible for Internet and Telecom Equipment across Asia as well as China technology including telecom equipment, Internet, media, PCs, display, handsets and software.

Bruno Bensaid is the managing director of Shanghaivest Limited, a boutique financial advisory firm mainly focused on raising funds and investing in Chinese TMT startups at seed/early stage. In China since 1997, Bruno has held several executive positions in the local tech industry. In 2002-2005, Bruno worked as China COO of French gaming company In-Fusio, growing revenue from $100k to $3 Mil, and subscriber base from 0.3 to 5 million, and the acquisition of a local VAS company. Bruno also led operations of several other mobile software companies and consulted to French mobile operators on their China strategy.

Since 2006, Bruno advises Chinese TMT startups as well as European VC funds (which included a stint at Ventech (a French VC firm) in China in 2008).   Alvin Chiang, CMO, Oak Pacific Interactive Group

Mr. Chiang joined the Oak Pacific Interactive Group in November 2008 as Chief Marketing Officer responsible for advertising sales for the Group's properties Xiaonei.com and Mop.com in China, corporate PR, and the content operation and marketing of Mop.com.

A seasoned executive with over 10 years of internet and advertising experience, Mr. Chiang has held senior roles at Acer Digital Services Group, Yahoo! Taiwan, NetEase and the Alibaba Group. His career highlights include generating exceptional results in the areas of e-commerce, advertising sales and marketing planning for above companies. Before joining the internet industry, he worked for Hexin Communication Group in Taiwan.

Active on behalf of the internet marketing industry throughout his career, Mr. Chiang has been a judge for the China Internet Advertisement Awards for the three years and a guest speaker as well as advisor for ad:tech China throughout 2005 to 2007. Mr. Chiang has been named a Top 20 Marketing People in 2006 by New Marketing and a top 100 Influential Marketing People in China in 2006, 2007, 2008 by Marketing China.

Alvin Foo Alvin Foo, Vice President, China & Asia Pacific, Velti PLC

Alvin Foo is currently the Vice President, China & Asia Pacific of Velti PLC, a publicly listed global Mobile Marketing company based in the United Kingdom. Prior to this, he was the Head of China for Nokia Interactive, Nokia's mobile advertising business unit and the Executive Director of Madhouse Inc, a leading Mobile Marketing company based in Shanghai, China.

An internet and telecommunication expert with over 15 years of work experience primarily in the space of wireless and internet networking. His present focus is in the areas of digital media and mobile technology, more specifically mobile marketing.

Vincent Kobler Vincent Kobler, Managing Director, EmporioAsia Leo Burnett

Vincent is an entrepreneur who has been engaged in Internet ventures for the past decade. He founded EmporioAsia in 1999 and grew it into China’s leading full-service interactive marketing agency. In May 2008, EmporioAsia was acquired by Publicis and integrated into Leo Burnett Greater China. Currently the agency is in charge of all of the interactive business for Leo Burnett in the Greater China region.

EmporioAsia Leo Burnett helps build businesses and brands through online services ranging from creative website design, search, email, mobile and rich media campaigns. The agencies clients include Hilton, Parrot, Marriott, China Eastern Airlines, Jin Jiang Hotels and Belle.

KK Ko KK Ko, Head of Marketing, LG Electronics

Before joining LG Electronics to lead the Corporate Marketing Team, KK spent 15 years in Coca-Cola as iMarketing Asia Regional Director in Korea and prior to leaving was iMarketing Director for China.  He was behind Coca Cola’s many marketing campaigns including Yo-yo, FIFA World Cup, Fanta FunCamp and 2000 Olympic, expertise covering all areas of gaming- online, video and mobile. He launched CokePLAY in Korea and iCoke in China. Now at LG, he oversees the “Art and Tech”, Black Label Series as well as 2008 加油中國 campaigns.

Jason Kuperman Jason Kuperman, Vice President, Asia Pacific Digital Development, Omnicom Group Inc.

In the late 1990’s Jason founded the Interactive division of TBWA\Chiat\Day, as well as helped launch the TBWA\ network’s worldwide Interactive initiative called Digerati. Under Jason’s leadership the Interactive division grew with expertise in web development, Interactive marketing, email marketing, as well as the use of convergent media vehicles.

Until 2005, Jason served as the group’s the Director of Operations, managing the day-to-day operations of the 120+ person LA office across all of its disciplines. In 2006 Jason returned to his Interactive roots to focus on Interactive and online brand content in order to best leverage the group’s success in these two rapidly growing areas.

In January of 2007, Jason left TEQUILA\ to join another TBWA\ company, Agency.com. Based in Shanghai, he became the Managing Director of the China operations for the world-class digital agency. He built out the digital offering for the TBWA\China group growing Interactive revenues 250% and doubling the client base of the agency.

In the beginning of 2008 Jason moved to a new role within the Omnicom Group to serve as the Asia Pacific region’s Vice President for Digital Development. In his new role he will help all the divisions of Omnicom in the region continue to build their digital capabilities and profiles. His responsibilities will include recruiting top digital talent to the region, training and general evangelism, capability development, and strategic acquisitions.

S Y Lau S Y Lau, EVP Online Media, Tencent

S Y Lau, joined Tencent in 2006 with the responsibility of overseeing the company’s online media business division, and also the mandate to further develop the company's online advertising business, and enhancing the corporate brand values for its various web properties. SY Lau is a seasoned professional in branding and marketing communication with more than 17 years of solid experience working in leading international advertising agencies, and with the previous 13 years in a leadership position in China.

In early 2007, SY Lau was named by the China Advertising Association as "Person of the Year 2006 in the China Advertising Industry." Later that year, he led the TENCENT team to win the Strategic Partnership of the 14th and 15th China Advertising Festival. SY also sits in the advisory board for Ad-Tech, the globally renowned organization for Online Marketing. At the end of 2007, SY Lau held the post of Vice President of China Advertising Association, as well as the Visiting Professor of Shanghai Normal University. In March 2008, SY Lau was honored with the prestigious "Remarkable Contribution Award for China's 30 Years Advertising History" from China Advertising Association.

Prior to joining Tencent, he was the Managing Partner of Publicis China and the CEO for BBDO China. Before that. He had also held senior management positions at Dentsu Young & Rubicam in Shanghai, and McCann-Erickson in Beijing and Hong Kong. Mr. Lau has been a prolific speaker and article contributor in the advertising industry. He was a former chairman of Shanghai 4As Council in 2003.

Mathew McDougall Dr. Mathew McDougall, Group CEO & Executive Chairman, SinoTech Group

Dr. Mathew McDougall is recognized worldwide as a leading expert on online advertising and online marketing analytics. Shaun Rein Shaun Rein, Founder and Managing Director, China Market Research Group (CMR)

Before founding CMR, Shaun was the Chief of Research for venture capital firm Inter-Asia Venture Management. He also was the Managing Director, Country Head China for e-learning software company WebCT where he also ran the company's Taiwan and South Korean operations. He also served as the Assistant Director of the Centre for East Asian Research at McGill University.

He is a columnist for BusinessWeek's Asia Insight column. He has published commentaries in, been written about and quoted in publications worldwide including Forbes, the Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, Newsweek International, Dow Jones' MarketWatch, Investor's Business Daily, International Herald Tribune, and Barron's. He is regularly interviewed for National Public Radio's Marketplace and CBS News.

Consulting Magazine named Shaun one of the "Top 30 Consultants Worldwide Under the Age of 30". Michael Tong Michael Tong, Chief Operating Officer, Netease 

Mr. Michael Tong has served as our Chief Operating Officer since July 2004 and in charge of corporate brand building and content building for NetEase web sites. Previously, he was an executive director of NetEase involved in the overall management of the Company with a particular focus on our online games and wireless businesses from June 2003 until that time. Mr. Tong has over 7 years of direct investments and investment banking experience. Before joining NetEase, he was an Executive Director of techpacific.com Venture Capital Limited, managing venture funds totaling around USD 100 million. Hans Yu Hans Yu, CEO, CR Nielsen

Hans Yu is the CEO of CR-Nielsen, Nielsen Online JV in China. Nielsen Online is a recently formed division of The Nielsen Company that includes Nielsen//NetRatings and BuzzMetrics businesses. Nielsen Online is an important piece of Nielsen’s Strategy to provide clients with an understanding of consumer behavior in the Internet and digital audio and video space, as well an integrated online/offline data and insights.

Between 2001 and 2007, Hans and his China team successfully introduced SiteCensus, Market Intelligence and AdRelevance into China market. In September 2008, Hans led CR-Nielsen team launching NetRatings in China, which is the first Internet measurement service integrating user centric data, ISP sampling data and site centric data globally.

Before Nielsen//NetRatings, Hans was the Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager, Supply Chain Group of Farmer & Deka Group, Foodland. Previously, Hans also had years experience in academia area, directing a highly innovative Internet research and modeling project.
