As VP and General Manager, Advertising Platforms at Yahoo!, Bill Wise leads business development for Yahoo!’s platforms, including sales to advertisers, publishers, networks and data providers, as well as the Yahoo Publisher Network business. Wise is also responsible for managing the corporate relationships and overall platform business with ad agencies.
Following Yahoo!’s acquisition of Right Media in 2007, Wise was named VP and General Manager of Yahoo!’s Marketing Technologies Solutions, which included the Right Media Exchange, Maven Video and APT, Yahoo!’s new ad management platform. Before that, he was President of Remix Media, Right Media's media and services business.
Wise currently serves on the board of Wealth Media Group, a firm focused on reaching the affluent market, and was a board member of ContextWeb, a contextual-based marketing firm, from 2004-2007. He was also on the client advisory board for Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions and the search engine marketing council board for Google, and was a board member for the DMA IMAB (Interactive Marketing Advisory Board).
